SFO bound...

A couple weekends ago I traveled to San Francisco, CA with some of my best friends from college. We had a great time reminiscing about our days in Hagamann Hall at the University of Northern Iowa and catching up on life since we all have moved to different parts of Iowa, the Midwest and the United States.

They were all departing from KCI and we were all scheduled to arrive in SFO around 11:30 AM.

The morning began when my plane left the runway at 1:45 AM in ANC, bound for a layover in SEA, before departing for SFO.

Sticking with my Techie Tuesday tradition...a glimpse into my flight to SFO...

Flight from ANC - SEA = slept the entire way. Lovely.

First stop after landing in Seattle? Starbucks for a Pike's Place brew.

As the time was getting closer to board for SFO, I received a text from my friends that stated they were delayed two hours...with a few pictures to keep me entertained...

As soon as they boarded, I received notice that my plane was also two hours delayed.

The waiting game began...

I was getting antsy so I scoped out a shop near my terminal...which already had a whole Halloween section!! Really??! 

After many more minutes of waiting, my stomach was growling so I picked up some sushi and edamame to eat on the plane...

It definitely hit the spot.

Upon arriving in SFO, I headed for the car rental center to finally meet up with my friends. 

Five months of waiting had arrived. I was so excited to start our adventure...
